What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a medical treatment in which a patient breathes 100% pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, at levels higher than normal atmospheric pressure. This allows significantly more oxygen to dissolve into the bloodstream and reach damaged tissues and organs, supporting faster healing and recovery.
How HBOT Works
Under normal conditions, oxygen is carried through the body primarily by red blood cells. Inside the hyperbaric chamber, the increased pressure allows oxygen to dissolve directly into the blood plasma as well. This dramatically increases oxygen delivery to tissues, reduces inflammation, and stimulates the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), accelerating the body's natural healing process.

What to Expect During a Session
Each session typically lasts 60–90 minutes. The patient rests comfortably inside the chamber while it is gradually pressurized. Patients can breathe normally, relax, or even sleep during the session. Mild ear pressure, similar to what is felt during air travel, is common and manageable.
